download quickpwn
download apple firmware ipsw file
jailbreak use quickpwn windows (seems mac version have problem with v2.2)
use sydia to install openssh and sbsettings (allow to toggle ssh, wifi etc)
sbsettings can be invoked by swipe from left to right in top status bar
find the ip address of the ipod in sbsettings
use fugu/terminal to ssh to ipod
change default root and mobile account password from default 'alpine' to something else
